Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

In 1989, the Miss America Organization founded the platform concept, which requires each contestant to choose an issue about which she cares deeply and that is of relevance to our country. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) is the national platform of the Miss America Organization.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across North America, which, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most. When a donation is given it stays in the community, ensuring that every dollar is helping local kids. Since 1983, CMNH has raised more than $4 billion, most of it $1 at a time. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care.

Lindsey has been involved in fundraising for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals since late 2011. In that time she has been able to raise several thousand dollars in support of CMNH through local fundraising, generous donations, and events such as Miracle Jeans Day.

Also, Lindsey has had the privledge of visiting local hospitals to meet strong willed children and their hard working care takers. All contributions made to the CMNH are directed to the network hospital nearest to the donor. You can make a tax-deductible donation by visiting Lindsey's Miss America for Kids webpage.
